When you go to the TPLink Support site for downloads, you will note that the T9E driver for Windows 10 is labeled "Īrcher T9E_V1_151026". Support should notate that for customers. Downloaded latest driver from TP Support site, but no way to point it to driver installation unless I use the Device Manager from within Windows. When I attempted to run the setup file for it, the message popped up "Cannot run this program on this Operating System." Since TPLink eliminated the Configuration Utility from its Windows 10 installation this information had to be gathered from several sources. I ran out of ideas, any pointers on how to fix the wifi connection problem is appreciated.ĭescription: Broadcom 802.11ac Network AdapterĪnswer: Set the Power Output of the Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter to 25% It also seems they haven't come up with an update for the driver in almost two years. I had windows running on a MacBook air (2010) and never experienced these issues. I went to the apple store and I was simply told that this is a windows issue. Wifi connection still drops randomly with no perceivable pattern. I tried manually installing and uninstalling drivers, rolling back drivers, installing and reinstalling the windows support software, and even using third party driver support software. Other times the drivers will randomly be disabled, not sure if this has to do with windows updates. Once it drops it sometimes will simply not reconnect. Even on very robust networks it will eventually begin to drop. It works better on certain networks than others but it's always intermittent. WiFi will randomly disconnect when I run Windows 10. I have a MacBook Pro, purchased late 2017. Question : how do I fix it so I have a reliable consistent wifi connection when I use Windows 10? WiFi is consistently dropping at random times regardless of network. Update: There was a new driver released on for Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter, version 7.35.118.83, but the Apple update is only now pushing it ().
